Elliott Daniel Porter was born November 3rd, 2008 at 11:21am. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 19 3/4" long.
We just spent our first full night with Elliott and he was great. Yesterday we had visits from friends and family and are looking forward to more. We are planning to stay here one more night. Right now Elliott is sleeping and Wendy is reading a magazine.
I'm going to be adding some pictures and video because my mom was able to give us her camera link, so we don't have to just use iPhone pictures.
Elliott is choosing to remain non-partisan for the election.

Thanks so much for this... I signed on as a follower (TA DA! I'm the first) and am looking forward to staying in touch vicariously through the blog. I'm itching to fly out and meet the little guy but it will have to wait awhile since things are busy here until at least mid-February. Love to all of you... Victoria
